The Surehatch SH2160 Setter is our largest single stage setter. It only has setting space, you therefore need to purchase a separate hatcher with the setter.
Eggs are placed in the setter for the first 18 days. After this period the eggs need to be transferred to a hatcher.
Surehatch setters are widely used by breeders wanting to start a larger scale hatchery as well as hatcheries who need to expand their current hatching capacity. Many breeders are replacing their existing setters with our new, more advanced ones.
Unique features in our setters include channeled air flow, energy saving heating elements, highly durable Duraboard construction as well as our very effective Siemens egg turning mechanisms. Temperature control is the most accurate on the market and will yield excellent hatching results.
The SH2160 has the following advantages over other models on the market:
*Free shipping within the contiguous 48 US states only, excludes Alaska & Hawaii

Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986), is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more that 900 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.
